Grades and Transcripts

Learners Edge does not process transcripts. Please allow 2-3 business days after receiving your Learners Edge course completion email for your registration information and grade to be available at Marygrove College. Please note that this email does not indicate your transcript is ready to be ordered.

NOTES: (1) Please do not order or request transcripts from Marygrove College until you received automated emails from the College regarding each of your completed courses.  The automated email will be sent to the email address you provided to Learners Edge at the time of course purchase. Please review your unofficial transcript online or contact the registrar's office to ensure all grades and courses are listed before requesting.

(2) Learners Edge courses are considered graduate credit and will be listed on an Official Transcript in the category of Professional Development.

Specific Steps/Timelines

  • Transcripts with courses and academic grades for graduate credit are issued by:
    Marygrove College Registrar
    8425 West McNichols
    Detroit, Michigan 48221
  • It is recommended that your completed coursework be submitted to Learners Edge at least 30 days prior to your transcript deadline.
  • Learners Edge will evaluate all coursework within 7-10 business days of its submission to Learners Edge.
  • If you have provided Learners Edge with a valid email address, you will receive an email notification of course completion. If you are registered for multiple courses, you will receive multiple emails of completion.
  • Learners Edge will submit your registration information and grade(s) to Marygrove College.
  • Important: Students who have previously taken other courses with Marygrove College under a different last name and/or mailing address or those students who have changed their last name and/or mailing address since they purchased their course(s) with Learners Edge, must submit a Change of Legal Name and/or Address Change form directly to the Marygrove College Registrar’s office.  Providing your “new” name and/or mailing address to Learners Edge is not official and will not automatically change the name and/or mailing address on record with the College.
  • Students who are new to Marygrove will receive an e-mail notifying you of the availability of your academic grade(s) and instructions for Marygrove WebAdvisor access (user name and password). This email will be sent to your non-Marygrove e-mail.

If you are a returning student to Marygrove College, you will be notified when your grade has been posted to your transcript by e-mail to your Marygrove e-mail account.

If you have problems accessing your Marygrove account, please contact Marygrove Tech Support at 313-927-1282. You will need your student I.D. number.
If you do not know your student I.D. number, please contact:
    Judy Gottlieb by e-mail jgottlieb@marygrove.edu
  • Once within the secure WebAdvisor system, you can submit a request for transcript. Transcript requests submitted via WebAdvisor are free of charge. Students, please note: When submitting your transcript request, please select "Professional Development" as your transcript option. Failure to make this selection will result in your classes and grade not appearing on your transcript.
  • Students may also obtain Marygrove College electronic and paper transcripts, for a fee, through an external credential exchange platform: www.parchment.com. Students must register to create a Parchment account and pay the transcript fee at the time the online order is placed. Orders are filled within 24 hours, Monday-Friday. Fees and rules are subject to change per Parchment. Please visit their website for information, to register for a Parchment account and/or to order a transcript.
    Electronic Transcripts through Parchment: $2.25
    Paper Transcripts through Parchment: $4.25
  • If you have any questions related to your student record, academic grade(s), transcript request(s) and/or accessing WebAdvisor, please submit your email inquiry to Judy Gottlieb  (jgottlieb@marygrove.edu). A response can be expected within 24 hours.
