Grades and Transcripts

Learners Edge does not process transcripts. Please allow 10 business days after receiving your Learners Edge course completion email for your registration information and grade to be available at Andrews University. Please note that this email does not indicate your transcript is ready to be ordered.

Specific Steps/Timelines

  • Transcripts with courses and academic grades for graduate credit are issued by:

  • It is recommended that your completed coursework be submitted to Learners Edge at least 30 days prior to your transcript deadline.
  • Learners Edge will evaluate all coursework within 7-10 business days of its submission to Learners Edge.
  • If you have provided Learners Edge with a valid email address, you will receive an email notification of course completion. If you are registered for multiple courses, you will receive multiple emails of completion.
  • Learners Edge will submit your registration information and grade(s) to Andrews University
  • After you have received your Letters of Completion from Learners Edge, it is essential that you complete and submit a W9 to Andrews University in order to process your transcript and receive a 1098-T for Tax Purposes.

  • After submitting your W9, please allow at least 10 business days to ensure Andrews University has adequate time to make sure your transcript is available through the National Student Clearinghouse. You will not be able to request a transcript until a W9 has been submitted. 
  • After the appropriate waiting period, students may obtain Andrews University electronic transcripts, for a fee, through The National Student Clearing House
    Please be sure all your recent course grades are in the system to avoid an incomplete transcript.

Taxes

Tax Information

The University is required to report all qualified student charges to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). This reporting of charges lets students who qualify apply for a tax credit for those charges when filing a 1040 tax form.  To make sure that your charges are accurately reported, Andrews University needs your Social Security Number.

Step 1: Complete Part 1 of the W-9S Tax Form (only once) requesting your taxpayer’s identification number (Social Security Number), address, and certification (Instructions on how to complete the form can be found directly on the W-9S form).
