Book Study
Join a book study and earn graduate credit or clock hours!
There are some books that resonate at a gut level. When you come across this type of book, use a Learner's Edge book study to share your learning and excitement with teachers at your school or jump-start a staff development initiative.
A book study is a discussion group centered on a relevant educational text of your choice. Dialogue with colleagues and learn about new strategies and trends in education that relate directly to teaching and learning - and earn graduate credit or clock hours in the process. You may only take one book study per session.
Learner’s Edge, in partnership with Augustana College, offers 3 graduate credits for your participation in a book study (3 graduate credits for as little as $325!). The book study course will be documented on an official university transcript as Course 991: Required Reading, Text Seminar.
If graduate credit is not what you are looking for, you can earn clock hours for your participation in a book study (60 clock hours = $199)
