NDSU partners with Learner’s Edge in extending graduate credit in association with our print-based and online continuing education courses.
A Learner's Edge course will appear on your NDSU transcript as a 792 level course. The 792 course number at NDSU is used to designate a graduate level course. These classes are degree eligible and may be eligible for use on graduate programs of study. Be sure to check with your program advisor prior to registering for these classes, if you intend to use the courses as elective credit.
Official University Course Registration
After you register with Learner’s Edge and receive your course materials, you must officially register with the university. Grades cannot be submitted until this step is completed.

Please Note: Online University Registration will open on the following dates:
- Spring Session - September 1st (or first business day after this date)
- Summer Session - January 2nd (or first business day after this date)
- Fall Session - May 1st (or first business day after this date)

Grades/Transcripts
Please Note: Learner's Edge does not process transcripts. Please contact NDSU directly. It is recommended that your completed coursework arrive in our office at least 45 days prior to your transcript deadline.
Specific steps/timelines are as follows:
1. Learner's Edge will evaluate all coursework within 10-15 business days of its arrival in our office or submission of your final online assignment.
If you have provided a valid email address to Learner's Edge upon initial registration, you will receive an email letter of completion. (You may receive multiple letters of completion if you have registered for multiple courses)
2. The grade will be submitted to NDSU within 5 business days. Please allow sufficient time for NDSU to post your grade(s).
3.Click here to check on your grade(s) / view your unofficial transcript.
4. The most efficient way to obtain an official transcript is through www.getmytranscript.com.
