Reading Strategy: Making Predictions [VIDEO]

Want to get a bit deeper into reading strategies like making predictions and critical thinking? Catch this great video on using these literacy strategies to enhance student comprehension.

I would take this, and have the students go back to a book that they’re familiar with, and begin to jot down those types of questions, again pushing past the “what’s going to happen next” to start to ask questions about the characters in the story and the details that they might see within the pages.
