South Of the River Learning Academy (SORLA)

The Academy: The South of the River Learning Academy (SORLA) is offered by the staff development departments of Bloomington, Farmington, Eden Prairie, Lakeville, New Prague, Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan, and Shakopee Area Schools and is open to all teachers in or out of these districts. Learner’s Edge Inc. has partnered with SORLA to offer graduate credit to academy attendee’s.
The academy offers over 70 workshop sessions which include the four Minnesota relicensure areas along with reading, writing, math, the brain, classroom management, instructional strategies, listening skills, and more.

Earn Graduate Credit:
To earn university/college credit, visit the Learner's Edge Inc. table at the academy. Registration forms for graduate credit are also available at the SORLA website.

Credit cost is NOT included in the SORLA fee of $40 per session
