The South of the River Learning Academy (SORLA)

The Academy

The South of the River Learning Academy (SORLA) is offered by the staff development departments of Burnsville-Eagan-Savage, Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan, Farmington, Shakopee, Northfield, Bloomington, Lakeville, New Prague, and Eden Prairie Area Schools and is open to all teachers in or out of these districts.

The academy offers over 70 workshop sessions which include the four Minnesota relicensure areas along with reading, writing, math, the brain, classroom management, instructional strategies, listening skills, and more.

Conference Credit

In cooperation with the University of St. Thomas, Augustana College, St Mary’s University and Hamline University, Learner's Edge Inc. is pleased to offer graduate credit options for your participation in SORLA conferences and completion of related materials.
