The University of St. Thomas partners with Learner’s Edge in extending graduate credit in association with our distance learning continuing education courses.

Official University Course Registration

After you register with Learner’s Edge and receive your course materials, you must officially register with the university. Grades cannot be submitted until this step is completed.

Note: If you have not received your course materials from Learner’s Edge, DO NOT start the university registration process.

Step 1: Find your CRN Number
Before proceeding to Step 2 you need to locate your CRN number from the links below for the Learner’s Edge course(s) you are taking.

CRN numbers are unique to each course and semester so it is imperative that you select the number that matches your course order. Refer to the receipt that was included in your course materials for the correct semester.

Be sure to verify that you are selecting the correct CRN# and semester for EACH course. If you have any questions please call UST at 651-962-4338.

Step 2: UST Course Registration 
Please click here to complete the registration process. You will be asked to enter personal information and CRN information (from above) in this step.

Please call the Continuing Education Office at 651-962-4338 or email gcepe@stthomas.edu with questions relating to St. Thomas registration.

Grades/Transcripts

Please have your completed coursework in our office at least 30 days prior to your transcript deadline.

Specific steps/timelines are as follows:

  • Learner’s Edge Inc. will evaluate all coursework within 10 business days of its arrival in our office.
  • The grade will then be posted in the University of St. Thomas system.
  • Once posted, a grade for that course will be emailed to you from Learner's Edge.
  • A separate grade report for each course will be mailed from the university once your grade(s) has been posted.
  • After you've received a grade report for each of your completed courses, you may request your transcript directly from the university.

What should I do if I receive a letter about incomplete coursework for my St. Thomas course?
