Important Information
Learner’s Edge Inc. has built its reputation upon text-based distance learning courses. Thousands of teachers nationwide have taken these text-based courses and have enjoyed being freed from online or video viewing requirements.
However, we recognize that some people may prefer an online course format. So, in an effort to give you more choices regarding when, where, and how you learn, we have an agreement with the educational leadership association, ASCD, to offer over 50 ASCD Professional Development Online courses.
If an online format appeals to you (viewing readings via computer, no hard copy of a text, etc), we encourage you to explore the various course options on this page. Graduate Semester Credit Pricing:
1 credit = $99, 2 credits = $160, 3 credits = $260
Registration Process:
- From the categories above, choose the course you are interested in.
- If you have not yet registered to take the course with ASCD, please click here.
- Download and print the registration form. Once completed, you may either mail/fax the form to Learner’s Edge or you can place your order over the phone.
- If you have specific questions about online course content or process, read ASCD’s frequently asked questions.

- Separate payment of $99 is paid separately to ASCD at the time you register with them (the $99 fee to ASCD applies to all Online Courses, regardless of credit value.)
Please Note: Discounts are not available for online courses.
If you have already registered directly with ASCD to take the course, and have also registered with Learner’s Edge for Augustana College graduate credit, you may now begin your coursework. College information and course syllabi will be sent to you upon registration. Please allow up to 7-10 business days for delivery.
Those wishing to earn graduate credit must register with Learner’s Edge before starting their ASCD online course. If you have started your online course and have not registered with Learner’s Edge please contact us immediately.
